In an effort to put the northslope blog on some type of a regular schedule, I’m proud to announce an all new feature: Photoblog Fridays!

Above is a picture that I took on wednesday evening after 2 hours of fishing at the mouth of the Nome River. Pink salmon are running in full force soon, (for the first time during an odd numbered year since the mid 80s) and I plan to catch as many as possible (up to 10 a day)!
