night game

ok, maybe I’m weird….well, we know that’s true, but there is something about running around at 11:00 wearing camouflage, that is just the most fun thing in the world.

I just finished playing a night game with the jr. high youth camp. The O-Team was trying to catch the kids before getting shined at with a flashlight, while at the same time the kids had to find and catch another cabin. It was really quite the night game…and it was a blast. It must go back to how much I loved to play spy, or play army when I was growing up. I don’t think I ever left that phase….but we are all lucky I was smart enough to know when to stop :) . There aren’t to many places that I could hang out with my face painted completely black, with a hood on….and still be accepted. As the game was in full swing tonight, I noticed how much I was enjoying myself…and realized how I should savor every moment at camp…It won’t be the same again.
