Life in Yelm is pretty awesome this time of year, specifically because of the beautiful snow. It’s hard to believe, but we have about 2 inches and it’s still coming down!
Thanksgiving was last weekend and it was great to be with the family at my parents house, we were joined by Richard, Phyllis and Grandpa Keith too, so we were almost all together, though sadly we were missing Janell! Kobuk came along too, though I am beginning to think he is wearing out his welcome, what with the barking and the digging. Someone really should take the time to teach him a few things.
Yesterday was out three year anniversary, so naturally that prompted a little reminiscing. We have crammed a lot into three years. Like life in the suburbs, life in the boonies of Alaska and now, life in the kinda boonies of Washington. One ongoing theme is the great friends we have been blessed with at every turn. It’s always so clear that God knows what we need and loves to provide it.
So, here it is…the big snow fall of December 2005 – We got out all of our Nome clothes that we were oh so familiar with last year…..Josh even managed to break out the Nome beaver fur hat.
