Hey Everyone!

Things are getting down to the wire, we are getting really excited to leave! Some of you have asked for updates…well here they are!

Camp is still going great; we are continuing to have a blast here down in Yelm. Kent Covenant was here last weekend, and was our last guest group. This week we are cleaning up, and closing up shop. We have Labor Day Family camp this weekend, and then we are done here! We will leave camp on the evening of Sept 6th.

Tuesday evening, September 7th we will be having a farewell party at the Sommerman’s house, at 6:30pm. We would love to have each of you there. If you need directions, feel free to email us back, or give the Sommermans a call.

We will be leaving Seattle September 10th, around 11:00am, and flying into Anchorage. We will be spending a week in Anchorage, seeing the sights, and spending some time with my family that is there.

September 14th (Tuesday) we will be flying from Anchorage to Nome….where we will live for approximately one year.

Our fundraising has been going well, however we are still in need pledges & support for our trip. If you need a pledge form, you may print one off the internet, from: https://www.northslope.net/kicy_pledge.pdf, or you can let us know, and we will mail you one. That is also the form to fill out and send in if you would like to be a part of our prayer team.
