random encouragement

I was sitting in nisqually, and all of a sudden Jordan comes down from the office/conference room area and grabs me, literally throws me over his sholder and starts carrying me upstairs! Now, it took a few tries, and a little bit of help on my part (adjusting so he could carry me up the stairs) but we made it. I was asked to sit down in the middle of the conference room. Around me was each person on the program team. Mello started to read me some random bible verse, that didn’t really make any since, and I was a little confused. Right after that, Jordan told me why I was there. To be encouraged. They went around and told me what I’m doing right, why they think I’m fun to be around, how God is using me this summer, etc… It was very sincere, and sometimes very hard to hear. How do you react as people are sitting there throwing honest, well thought out complements at you? Lydia came in and joined me, and they did the same to her. It was really a awesome experience, and really taught me the power of words (something else I’ve been reading about in james).
